In this grass roots documentary on modern day homesteading, i met with 30 families from all over the USA to talk about how they produce, provide and profit from the land that they live on. From back yard bees and market gardens, to dairy goats and farm to table beef, each episode examines a different niche area of homesteading and how families make a return from what they do. But first, i asked them all the same "what IS a homestead ?"... here is what they had to say !
